Quilts are made from an original creative idea adhering to a preset list of rules. Members are encouraged to create a small quilt that incorporates one or more of the indicated guidelines. . They are then judged by our members and prizes are awarded.
Challenge 2025:” Make it Modern”
Guidelines include: Original design no larger than 120″ perimeter, completely quilted in three layer fashion.
(use of bold color, high contrast and graphic areas of color, improvisational piecing, minimalism, maximalism, expansive negative space, alternate grid work and modern traditionalism. Projects are due for submission by the December2025 Meeting
